Hey there, fellow freelancers! I’m super excited to share an awesome success story with you – Elli’s journey with freelancers.cy , our very first success! This story really captures the vibe of our cool community and shows how freelancing can be a game-changer.

So, Elli stumbled upon our Facebook group by pure luck after seeing an ad. She was all about trying freelancing for the first time. She decided to jump in by introducing herself and her skills in our private group.

I spotted Elli’s potential and gave her a nudge to boost her profile by adding a resume on our website. At first, she got caught up in the excitement and left things unfinished, as she gathered material for her online resume. But after landing her first client, she came back to polish up her profile and expand her client base.

Once her profile was complete, it was like fireworks! Elli’s LinkedIn, CV, and added skills showed off her experience in digital marketing and social media management. When I saw her profile, I knew she was exactly what our platform needed.

Even though Elli had just a month of digital marketing experience and seven months in direct marketing and sales, what stood out was her passion and creative thinking – qualities that fit perfectly with what we’re all about at freelancers.cy.

Fast forward 2.5 months, and Elli has become a key player of the team as a Communications Specialist. She’s rocking it as a community manager, social media strategist, and content writer, bringing a fresh vibe to the freelancing scene in Cyprus.
